The TETFund Centre of Excellence in Skills, Entrepreneurship and Sustainable Development at Yaba College of Technology (YABATECH) was established in 2021 after the institution was selected as one of the six polytechnic Centres of Excellence (CoE) in Nigeria. This recognition positions YABATECH as a key national partner in advancing technical innovation, entrepreneurship, and sustainable development.
The Centre of Excellence is designed to strengthen the college’s capacity to deliver high-quality technical training, applied research, and industry-relevant innovation. It aims to promote specialization in critical skill areas that address priority national challenges such as unemployment, technological gaps, and the need for sustainable economic growth.
